TOO MUCH SLEEP CAN KILL YOU!

GETTING too much shuteye during your golden years could trigger a stroke, according to an eye-opening study from China.

Over six years, researcher­s from Huazhong University analyzed the sleeping habits of more than 30,000 folks older than 60 and found those who regularly took daytime naps lasting longer than 90 minutes were 25 percent more likely to suffer a stroke!

But they also discovered those who stockpiled their snoozing didn’t fare much better, reporting that people who regularly slept more than nine hours a night had a 23 percent greater risk of the often-fatal condition compared to those who only slumbered a standard eight hours.

The scientists believe too much rest can cause a buildup of cholestero­l in the arteries, triggering the potentiall­y deadly ailment.
