LORI LOUGHLIN ATTACKS FEDS!
FACING 60 years behind bars if convicted in the college entrance bribery scandal, former Full House beauty Lori Loughlin believes federal prosecutors are withholding crucial evidence that could help clear her.
Lawyers for the 55-year-old, who is charged along with clothes-designer hubby Mossimo Giannulli, are asking the court to force the Justice Department to turn over the material.
The couple is accused of shelling out $500,000 to fixer Rick Singer to get their two daughters, who are not athletes, into the University of
Southern California as crew team recruits — even though the young women had no experience at the sport.
They want all the fed’s material about Singer’s finagling and USC’s “knowledge” of his operation to prove their money was NOT a bribe, but instead a donation to the university or charities. Lori and her hubby have pleaded not guilty.
