FEATHERS FLY OVER PIGEONS IN COWBOY HATS!

-

THERE’S a new gang in town — pigeons wearing colorful cowboy hats!

But concerned animal activists in Las Vegas want to nab the birdbrains responsible for the flighty fashions because they fear for the critters’ welfare!

Mariah Hillman, co-founder of the pigeon rescue group Lofty Hopes, fears the accessories are glued to the animals’ noggins.

“When we saw them today, you could see some loose feathers in the glue around the hat,” she says. “It’s definitely a concern.”

Two of the quirky critters — dubbed Cluck Norris and Coolamity Jane by locals — have evaded rescuers’ efforts to aid them.

But Hillman says she hopes her team can track them down and remove the headgear.

“If you see these birds, just feed them until I get here,” she tells residents. “I’m only three miles away and I’ll come trap them.”
