HEARTBROKEN DOLLY SLEEPING ALONE!

Hubby moves out of mansion & into a tiny cottage

-

HEARTBROKEN Dolly Parton is desperately fighting to save her marriage as hubby Carl Dean has moved out of their massive mansion and creeping Alzheimer’s cruelly obliterates his memories of their 53-year love-in.

Sources say 77-year-old Dean has been diagnosed with early onset of the brain-savaging disease, and Dolly, 73, faces a sad future without him.

Shockingly, the pair don’t even share the same home as Carl moved into the Brentwood, Tenn., estate’s guesthouse several months ago and they essentially live separate lives, a source says.

“It was Carl’s idea, especially since he barely sleeps at night any longer, and is worried about disturbing her,” a source spills. “He and Dolly’s main residence is massive — it has ten bedrooms and you can get lost in it.

“The guesthouse is easier for Carl to negotiate. It’s smaller and he can establish a routine and know where everything is without getting confused.”

He’s also resisting her frantic bid to slow down his decline, insiders dish.

“Dolly wants Carl to fight this all the way, investigate therapies and medications, but usually, he just wants to be left alone,” notes an insider.

Over the past year, when she’s been gone from their home for a week or two, she would come home, see a change and ask if he was feeling OK, according to the source.

“She could tell something significant was happening. Carl had trouble remembering relatives’ names and he would fumble around a word he wanted to use,” says the source.

“She knows the signs of Alzheimer’s — her mother, Avie Lee, passed away because of it, and so did her Uncle Louis.

“She forced him to go to the hospital for tests, and they

found the cause — it was the worst news imaginable.”

Dolly and Carl have led separate lives for much of their marriage — as she conquered the showbiz world and he stayed out of the spotlight to become a successful businessman.

“Carl made millions on his own with savvy real estate deals, and he was always out and about in their area, either at the bank or in meetings about property holdings,” the insider reveals. “But Dolly became alarmed when Carl began getting lost on roads he knows like the back of his hand.

“Dolly told Carl she didn’t want him driving and they have a handler who takes him out.”

Dolly also feels powerless as Carl often shoos her away when she tries to help, another spy dishes.

“While Dolly would cancel her own travel and appointments to stay home with Carl, he won’t hear of it. He just tells her nothing’s changed,” says the source.

At the same time, he’s insisting Dolly prepare for the future when the disease obliterates his memory and turns him into an invalid, the insider adds.

“He’s signed over his real estate properties to Dolly, and they’re trying to get his affairs

think clearly,” the insider says.

The situation also forced Dolly to change her plans to hit the road for a 2020 concert tour, sources say.

“Dolly says she just can’t do it — she can’t be on the road night after night worrying about how Carl is doing, or if something happens while she’s thousands of miles away,” the source says. “Dolly just breaks down in tears thinking about all the plans she had for her and Carl’s golden years.”

Says the other source: “She fears she’s going to lose him.”
