BITTER Angelina has alarmingly shriveled to a skeletal 90 pounds by purposely starving herself as a weird revenge against estranged ex-hubby Brad Pitt, sources say.
The 44-year-old Maleficent movie witch has lost her appetite along with the upper hand in her custody and money battle with the 56-year-old Troy star — and in a bizarre sort of logic, say sources, the five-foot-seven beauty believes shrinking to a bag of bones is a way to get back at him!
“She knows that even though they’re long since separated, he always hated it when she didn’t eat,” says an insider. “He always encouraged her to take better care of herself.
“So she figures the last thing she’ll do now is follow any of the advice he used to preach!”
Angie showed her shocking emaciated look during a recent broadcast campaign for children suffering from the global impact of COVID-19.
The Original Sin actress’s bitterness toward Brad has only intensified since he got the upper hand in their battle for custody of five of their six kids. The oldest, Maddox, 18, is now a college student in South Korea.
As GLOBE previously reported, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood hunk recently scored a major victory after a judge ordered Angelina to stay in L.A., where Brad is based, instead of relocating abroad, as she wishes.
The Tomb Raider star has also been forced to compromise with Brad over the education of Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 13, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 11, whom she currently homeschools.
The ongoing legal setbacks have propelled the pillow-lipped performer into a major tailspin, sources say.
“She’s having to suck it up and do what the judge says, but it’s tying her in knots, especially as she’s hurting for cash right now, too,” the insider reveals.
“She’s been skipping meals and surviving on a few bites of salad or fruit at best,” tattles the spy, “and often when she’s super stressed, she’ll just grab a coffee and won’t eat at all!”
GLOBE also reported that her $100 million fortune has been sinking fast due to legal bills while fighting Brad — who’s worth $500 million — and the halt of moviemaking caused by the pandemic lockdown.
Meanwhile, she’s laboring day and night to keep things together!
“She’s working long hours lining up movie deals and charity initiatives as well as penning essays about humanitarianism and helping with the kids’ schooling,” explains the snitch, adding: “Angie has never been so busy, but sadly her health has been neglected as a result.”
An insider notes that “Angie is a wonderful mom, but no matter how bad this war with Brad gets, she needs to take better care of herself — and start by eating some lunches and dinners!”
