FOODIE Portia de Rossi has whipped up interest from network honchos to host her own cooking show — but all the attention has jealous wife Ellen DeGeneres feeling like unwanted leftovers, insiders dish!

Even worse, sources say, conflict over Portia’s potentially profitable hobby — which gained a huge following when she posted her kitchen clips on social media — has turned their 11-year marriage into a hot mess!

“Portia has been really upping her culinary game during lockdown,” spills an insider,

“and she’s realizing she has a serious talent for this stuff, especially tricky Middle Eastern dishes.

“She has such a cute way of moving around the kitchen, even when she makes mistakes. She’ll stand there and hem and haw and forget what she was doing, which a lot of people can relate to.”

Now the adorable Aussie’s videos have caught the attention of Food Network folks and others who are hoping to build a show around her, the insider

says, adding, “They really do think she’s a natural for it!”

Portia has warmed to the idea, but her ambi

tions have sparked friction because Ellen, 62, is adamant the former Arrested Development star, 47, be a stay-at-home wife, insiders snitch.

“Portia points out a lot of celebrity chefs work out of their homes,” adds a tattletale. “But Ellen is dead set against turning their house into a set with cameras and people traipsing through their kitchen.”

However, the insider claims

Portia believes it’s unfair the talk show host gets to hog most of the spotlight.

“She just thinks Ellen’s being pigheaded and stubborn,” spills the source.
