VANNA QUITS HOLLYWOOD!

Big Wheel heads for retirement in paradise

-

LEGGY letter-turner Vanna White and live-in love John Donaldson plan to follow in Pierce Brosnan’s footsteps and move to Hawaii, insiders tell GLOBE.

The Wheel of Fortune mainstay, 63, wants to get away from hectic Hollywood and build her dream home — and her real estate developer beau is taking charge of the construction, sources snitch.

“Hawaii has always been Vanna’s No. 1 retreat, and now she wants to live on the island fulltime,” spills an insider. “They’re searching for the right property that has views of the Pacific and a stretch of beach where they can relax and soak up the sun.”

The source says the couple love the idea of building their own home and dishes, “They’re thinking contemporary design with floor-to-ceiling windows, a modern kitchen with stateof-the-art appliances, a pool, spa and sauna.”

But the insider adds Vanna’s move doesn’t mean she’s giving up her $4 million-a-year gig as Pat Sajak’s game show sidekick!

“She’ll still fly back to L.A. once a month to film Wheel of Fortune, but the other three or so weeks she’ll be living in paradise!” says the spy. “She loves her job, and she wouldn’t disappoint Pat by bailing on him, but she wants to slow things down.”

According to the tipster, Vanna, who has two grown kids, Gigi and Nikko, fell in love with Hawaii years ago and thought it a perfect place to semi-retire, and, “Now her dream is finally coming true — and John is helping her make it a reality!”
