Epstein madam plays the pity card,
PEDOPHILE Jeffrey
Epstein’s accused madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, is trying to beat a federal rap for sex trafficking young girls by blaming — get this — the prosecutors!
According to the imprisoned British socialite’s legal eagles, since hated Epstein is no longer alive, lawmen are making Maxwell the fall guy for her billionaire boss’ crimes — because HE can’t be prosecuted after dying under mysterious circumstances in his federal prison cell.
Officially, Epstein’s death was ruled a suicide, but many investigators insist he was murdered to keep the creep from squealing on his fat-cat buddies.
Ghislaine, 59, insists she knows nothing about Epstein’s crimes — and has proclaimed her innocence in court.
But she’s facing a mountain of accusations from Epstein victims, who claim she recruited, groomed and even forced underage girls to have sex with the kinky tycoon and his powerful wealthy pals.
While Maxwell’s crying foul, witnesses like Virginia Roberts Giuffre charge Ghislaine cruised West Palm Beach trailer parks and streets looking for poor, unhappy young gals to bring to Epstein’s Palm Beach citadel of sin for his sexual pleasure. Some even insist Ghislaine participated in the sexual shenanigans — and even micromanaged the encounters. In fact, Giuffre claims Maxwell forced her to have trysts with Epstein’s pal Prince Andrew, who denies the charge.
But Maxwell and her lawyers are whining she’s being made the scapegoat for Epstein’s pervy crimes because he can’t be brought to justice.
She accuses prosecutors of portraying her “as Epstein’s equal — if not his superior — and baselessly caricatured as a villain of near-mythical proportions.” It’s a classic legal strategy used by many predators, including Bill Cosby, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and even
