MIRANDA FLYING COOP & LEAVING HUBBY BEHIND!

She’s desperate for alone time

-

FEISTY Miranda Lambert can’t get to Texas fast enough for a trio of back-to-back concerts, say sources who insist she’s telling hubby Brendan McLoughlin to stay home when she goes!

A source snitched to GLOBE the gig is coming at just the right time — because the Bluebird singer, 37, is desperate to fly away!

Miranda eagerly announced she’d be playing Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth April 22 to April 24.

“First concert in over a year. Texas, I can’t wait to come home!” she gushes on Instagram, along with a heart emoji.

“She’s saying this is work and there’s no need for him to come along — but that’s not the whole truth and he knows it!” spills an insider.

“Secretly, Miranda’s looking forward to some alone time and a retreat from marriage to hang with her band and knock back a few beers, but it’s not sitting well with

Brendan. He feels left out and underappreciated.”

This comes on the heels of their “vacation from hell” — which included a hit-and-run on Interstate 20 near Atlanta with a semi-truck and a small car that sped off after smacking into their Airstream trailer!

“Miranda’s still in a bad mood over it,” tattles the insider.

After a whirlwind courtship and wedding, Brendan left his New York City cop job and moved into Miranda’s spread outside Nashville, Tenn.

But as GLOBE readers know, sources say there’s tension in the two-year marriage over 28-year-old Brendan’s loathing of country life.

“She’s sick of Brendan’s whining and complaining,” dishes the insider. “Honestly, she feels like she’s living with a baby! He doesn’t like the farm, the quiet or the animal smells, and he’s grossed out by her passion for hunting.

“Miranda’s saying she’s looking forward to some much-needed ‘me’ time and a change of scenery.” ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ “The only lies for which we are truly punished are those we tell ourselves.” - V.S. Naipaul
