BLOOD MONEY! Fiend accused in dad’s murder busted for looting $134G family cash

-

ASICKO in North Carolina stole more than his elderly father’s life, the money-grubbing killer also secretly siphoned a small fortune from his parents’ bank account, cops claim.

Flynn Thomas Gruidl, 45, has been cooling his heels in the New Hanover County jail since his arrest late last year. The tattooed terror was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the Nov. 20 death of his bedridden dad, Thomas, and is being held on $2 million bond.

But Flynn was recently slapped with additional felonies — obtaining property by false pretense and exploiting disabled/elderly adult — after an arrest warrant said he transferred nearly $134,000 from his parents’ account to his own — without the permission of his mother, who lives at a different residence.

Officials claim the theft occurred in May 2020 — nearly six months before cops found 74-year-old Thomas’ bloody and battered body in the home he shared with Flynn.

Investigators say they were tipped off about Thomas’ brutal end by a family friend who’d stopped by to check on the vulnerable senior — then called 911 to report the gruesome discovery after snapping a ghoulish cellphone photo as evidence!

“It looks like his dad has been beat to death. The bed is covered in blood … I seen blood everywhere,” the friend told an emergency dispatcher on a recently released recording.

Disturbingly, the man also said of Flynn, “I actually heard him make comments before … like, ‘Man, I wish he was gone. He’s always been a bully to me.’ He can’t even get out of the bed, what are you talking about?”

Chillingly, the caller added, “The kid has always been a little weird, but I didn’t know he was quite that far out … I don’t get it, why would anyone want to hurt that old dude like that?”

Flynn insists he’s innocent of all charges.
