His wife & lover busted for murder after threesomes
ALOVE triangle gone wrong ended in the violent murder of an Oklahoma pastor, authorities charge. Kristie Dawnell Evans, 47, was arrested after confessing to plotting her preacher husband David Evans’ murder with a man the couple hooked up with for forbidden threesomes, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI).
At 1 a.m. on March 22, Kristie called 911 to report an intruder had broken into the home she shared with David, pastor of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Ada, lawmen say.
She claimed the intruder shot her 50-year-old husband, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
After the news broke, one of David’s pals said: “It just didn’t seem real — like kind of a bad dream. He was such a beloved person. He’s not somebody who has enemies or even people who dislike him.”
Investigators were stumped for a motive — until their probe revealed Kristie and David had joined Kahlil Deamie Square, 26, at a hotel for “sex on more than one occasion,” according to an arrest affidavit.
Their first tryst was at a Super 8 months before the murder and during one sex romp, “Kristie secretly dropped her phone number on the floor for Kahlil,” says an OSBI agent.
“Kristie continued to communicate by phone daily with Kahlil — without David’s knowledge.”
Investigators say Kristie told them Square stayed at the couple’s home from March 17 to 19 while her husband was on a missionary trip to Mexico.
In another interview, cops say she claimed David was verbally abusive — regularly calling her “a slut, fat, ugly and whore.”
Kristie and Square plotted the murder while David was in Mexico, authorities say.
Neighbors gave investigators surveillance footage police say shows Square’s white Ford Mustang outside the couple’s home the morning the kinky minister was shot.
One day earlier, Kristie posted pictures on Facebook of necklaces her husband sent her while in Mexico, writing: “So, every day I opened a card and was reminded of how blessed, loved and lucky I am! I love you so much, David!”
But according to an affidavit, Kristie told her daughter she’d “begged” Square to kill her husband, who was shot in the head while he was lying in bed.
Kristie and Square now face first-degree murder charges, but have not entered pleas.
David’s friend says: “He was just an all-around great person. That community is going to dearly, dearly miss him.”
