SAJAK’S RULING IS WHEEL DISASTER

-

FANS want to reinvent the Wheel!

The Wheel of Fortune fandom revolted after a “nitpicky” rule prevented a contestant from winning big bucks on March 30.

David Pederson correctly answered, “Soul, Flounder, Cod and Catfish,” but host Pat Sajak nixed it because of the word “and,” which is not allowed under the game’s crossword puzzle format.

The next contestant correctly solved the puzzle, triggering an avalanche of complaints!

“Wheel of Fortune’s draconian rule where you lose if you add ‘and’ to the crossword puzzle has to go,” one wrote on Twitter.

“They need to fix that freakin’ ‘and’ rule,” sniffed another.

Yet another groused: “Another contestant losing out on money because they said AND on the crossword puzzle. @WheelofFortune just change the dumbest rule ever and allow this.”
