SHERIFF REFUSES TO REVEAL CAUSE OF TIGER CRASH!

Sparks new claims of celeb cover-up

-

L.A. Sheriff Alex Villanueva’s refusal to reveal the cause of Tiger Woods’ crippling car crash has triggered outrage and cries of a new cover-up!

Almost immediately after Tiger blew a curve and drove his SUV straight off a California highway, Villanueva ruled the Feb. 23 incident was an “accident” — without any drug tests for the golf legend, who is a recovering addict.

Then, on March 31, the lawman declared he knows why Woods crashed — but won’t reveal it!

“There’s some privacy issues on releasing information on the investigation,” insists Villanueva, adding he’ll only “do a full release on all the information regarding the accident if they [Woods] waive the privacy.”

He also declared he still considers the wreck “purely an accident,” saying: “You either have an accident, or you have a deliberate act. This was an accident.”

He also said the black box in the SUV was recovered — and gave key clues about what happened.

But as GLOBE revealed days after the crash put the 45-year-old golf legend in the hospital with a shattered leg and ankle, experts believe Woods either blacked out or was asleep behind the wheel when he failed to follow the curve in the road and rolled his SUV.

Former police detective Jonathan Cherney, who inspected the crash site, found “no tire marks” indicating Woods was “braking or attempting any type of steering” to change the vehicle’s path. “That is not an indication of someone who is awake,” he says.

Also, Woods is a recovering pill-popper after a 2017 DUI arrest when Florida cops found him passed out behind the wheel and tests found five drugs in his system. He later did a rehab stint.

Woods has mostly kept mum, but told first responders at the California crash he “did not remember” what happened.

Cherney has slammed the sheriff for not sending a drug expert to the scene to evaluate Woods and order blood tests.
