CUOMO CAUGHT UP IN CHEATING SCANDAL!
NEW York Gov. Andrew Cuomo — now facing two separate investigations into sexual harassment charges made by at least eight female staffers — is accused of cheating on longtime love Sandra Lee!
The humiliated celebrity chef and Food Network star has fled to Malibu, and now GLOBE has ripped the lid off the sex scandal that’s rocking the disgraced politico!
“Andrew is toxic!” says an insider.
“There’s obviously a reason why Sandra moved to California — she literally could not have moved farther away from Andrew. She’s on the edge of the Pacific!”
The once-golden couple met in 2005 and Cuomo, 63, called Sandra, 54, a “godsend” for helping raise his three daughters with ex Kerry Kennedy.
He was also famously portrayed as a loving boyfriend during Sandra’s grueling battle with breast cancer in 2015 when she underwent a double mastectomy.
But GLOBE has learned staffers claim Sandra was kept at arm’s length by “mean girls” in his office while Cuomo spent time with favored coworkers. Now multiple female staffers accuse him of improper flirting, kissing, touching and remarks going back 21 years.
Former staffers also say they’re convinced Cuomo was involved with, or at least pursuing, at least one other staffer while shacking up with
Sandra at her palatial home, Lily Pond, in Mount Kisco, N.Y.
“It was an open secret,” claims one ex-aide. “Andrew was sleeping with at least one other woman who wasn’t Sandra” before they officially ended their relationship in 2019.
However, outraged Cuomo insists he NEVER cheated on Sandra and is innocent of all sex harassment claims.
But an insider says, “Sandra’s gone silent and her silence is deafening. The question is, is Sandra being silent out of grace and dignity, or is she being silenced out of fear of retaliation?”
After their bust-up, the couple issued a public statement: “Over the recent past, we have realized that our lives have gone in different directions, and our romantic relationship has turned into a deep friendship,” and didn’t elaborate.
Since then, Sandra has not commented on the sexual harassment charges that triggered two state investigations and calls for Cuomo’s impeachment, as GLOBE reported last week.
The governor has refused to resign amid the furor and told The New York Post: “Any suggestion that I had a sexual relationship with any member of my staff or that I was unfaithful to Sandy is false.”
But two incidents in particular raised red flags, according to staffers.

One told how a state trooper who came to pick up Cuomo at Lily Pond early in the morning was stunned to see him leave the house with a staffer.
“There was no reason for this woman to be there so early,” the person says.
Staffers also raised questions about a trip to Israel in 2017, when a female aide was booked into a hotel room adjoining Cuomo’s, but travel logs were changed to show a state trooper in the room.
Besides that, others claim Cuomo left strict instructions with staffers not to tell Sandra when he slipped out of his Midtown Manhattan office for late-night drinks at Docks, a restaurant in the same building.
“I would ask whether Sandra was going on a trip with Andrew, and all the mean girls would start laughing and say nothing. They would be rolling their eyes,” dishes a former aide.
Sources also claim Cuomo tossed boozy parties at the pool house at the governor’s mansion in Albany and “movie nights” attended by female staffers.
Sandra often traveled to the West Coast to care for family members and was not included, sources say.
Former aide Ana Liss, one of Cuomo’s accusers, says: “I know from my time working there that Sandra was very clearly kept away from Andrew by the folks controlling his schedule. She was only brought forth in public on certain special occasions.”
One of the last times the two attended an event together was New York City’s Pride Parade in June 2018.
“People from the office were hostile,” says a senior staffer, who has stopped working for
Cuomo. “They totally ignored Sandra. She had her sunglasses on the whole time and looked so sad. Andrew humiliates people, one way or another.”
