CARRIE ANN BAILS ON TOXIC TALK!
HARRIED co-host Carrie Ann Inaba has waltzed off The Talk, claiming she’s taking a leave of absence from the embattled all-gal gabfest to focus on her health — mere weeks after she was socked with a lawsuit over a 2019 car crash!
The Dancing with the Stars judge, 53, dropped the bombshell on Instagram, saying she plans “to focus on my well-being,” but hopes to “be back soon.”
In her post, Carrie Ann — who previously revealed she was diagnosed with Sjogren’s syndrome, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis — used the tag “#autoimmunewarrior.”
But sources say her most recent announcement comes as The Talk is still reeling from Sharon Osbourne’s exit after the salty-tongued chatterbox was accused of being a racist!
On March 10, Sharon defended pal Piers Morgan, who’d slammed Duchess Meghan as a “liar” for painting her hubby Prince Harry’s royal family as racists in a CBS interview.
On the heels of Sharon’s on-air dustup with co-panelist Sheryl Underwood — who claimed The Osbournes star was validating racism by backing Piers — sources claimed the brash Brit had called lesbian co-host Sara Gilbert a “fish-eater” and Chinese-American Julie Chen “slanty eyes!”
Sharon, 68, denied using the slurs or being a racist, but the TV tigress still headed for the door.
But according to sources, that’s not the only drama swirling around Carrie Ann!
Recently filed L.A. court documents reveal the choreographer was hit with a civil lawsuit by Jessie Raymond Zimbro, who accused her of “negligently” slamming into his car on Dec. 16, 2019, and “severely injuring” him — and is seeking monetary damages.
