Actress insists hubby doesn’t want to hear about on-screen romances
SCREEN siren Nicole Kidman isn’t shy about stripping down to shoot gritty, revealing sex scenes — but the leggy babe keeps the intimate details from her jealous hubby, Keith Urban.
“He’s got his own career that he’s completely absorbed in,” says the 54-year-old beauty. “He doesn’t know much about what I’m really doing.”
And it’s a good thing because the mom of his daughters, Sunday Rose, 13, and Faith Margaret, 10, doesn’t back off from revealing and kinky sex in her roles.
While wed to first hubby Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, she got down to the nitty-gritty in Billy Bathgate and Eyes Wide Shut.
She’s continued peeling for violent, twisted sex scenes since getting hitched to country singer Keith, 53. Nicole says she doesn’t tell Keith about her scenes, but adds that “he’s an artist so he understands all of it.”
Her 2017 flick The Killing of a Sacred Deer sparked a stir over a twisted tryst where she lies on a bed pretending to be unconscious while her hubby, played by Colin Farrell, strips off her undies.
Shocked critics called the kinky scene “weird, unsettling” and found it “undeniably tough” to view.
Her award-winning HBO series Big Little Lies included a shockingly violent rape with her screen hubby, Alexander Skarsgard, who also showed full-frontal nudity.
While Keith didn’t watch the filming, he did see the results — bruises all over her back.
“He was devastated seeing it but then he would say, ‘But I have an artist wife,’ ” says Nicole. “He knows that’s how I work. I don’t even notice it half the time.”
