COSBY TAKING THE FIFTH IN NEW SEX CASE!
Gal claims she was 15 when he molested her
JAILBIRD Bill Cosby vows to take the Fifth Amendment in a civil suit accusing him of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl at Los Angeles’ Playboy Mansion in 1974!
Judy Huth says days after meeting the then 37-year-old comic on a movie set, Cosby plied her with booze and took her to the notorious party pad, where he led her into a bathroom, forced his hand down her pants, tried to kiss her and then forced her to sexually pleasure him with her hand. Judy insists she was 15 at the time — but didn’t file a civil suit against Cosby until 2014.
The disgraced Jell-O pitchman — who was recently released from a Pennsylvania prison on a legal technicality — fears giving a deposition in Huth’s lawsuit. Back in 2005 Cosby gave a deposition detailing his sexual encounter with Temple University basketball exec Andrea Constand, who filed a civil suit accusing him of sex abuse. At the time of his deposition, the local district attorney promised Cosby he wouldn’t be prosecuted for any revelations he made during the deposition. Cosby testified to giving Constand pills the night she claims she woke up to find the TV star groping her. He settled out of court. But his testimony was used against him in 2018 when a new district attorney prosecuted Cosby for attacking Constand and presented the civil case deposition to a jury. Cosby was convicted and sent to prison. But his conviction was tossed earlier this year when the state’s high court ruled Cosby’s non-prosecution agreement with the original D.A. was still valid.
Cosby’s lawyer Michael Freedman says, “If he is forced to sit for a deposition [in the Huth case], he will exercise his Fifth Amendment guarantees” that allow him to refuse to answer questions that might incriminate him, says his lawyer.
Meanwhile Cosby’s PR mouthpiece Andrew Wyatt claims his client can prove “that [Huth] was not a minor” and “Mr. Cosby was not at that location with the dates that she gave.”
