FORMER Dallas heartthrob Patrick Duffy is so crazy for his Happy Days honey Linda Purl, he’s ready to put a ring on it, insiders squeal.
The lovey-dovey duo have been joined at the hip since falling in love at the start of lockdown — and sources say aging Duffy is telling pals he’s ready to make it official!
“He’s been ring shopping and wants to propose next month or over the holidays, since they’ve been together over a year now and he is more infatuated with her every passing day,” dishes an insider.
The trip down the aisle will be the second trip for Patrick, 72, who found fame playing nice guy Bobby Ewing on the hit TV soap opposite late Larry Hagman’s villain from 1978 to 1991.
His first wife, ballet dancer Carlyn Rosser, mom of his two grown sons, died from cancer in 2017, after more than 40 years together.
Meanwhile, Linda, 66, — who found fame as Fonzie’s girlfriend Ashley Pfister on Happy Days in the 1970s and ’80s, and later on The Office — has four failed marriages.
But in new photos taken during a recent getaway in Santa Barbara, Linda looked totally smitten with Patrick. They were spotted taking a romantic siesta in the back of their rental car, snuggling up on pillows and blankets while listening to the sounds of the ocean lapping in the background.
“They don’t officially live together just yet,” tattles the insider. “Patrick considers his Utah ranch his full-time place and Linda’s very tied to Colorado.
“But they’re rarely apart because he commutes to be with her 80 percent of the time, if not more.
“It just makes sense on every level to him to propose and integrate their lives as one.”
While Linda’s “not pressuring him, she actually feels badly that he’s doing so much travel and doesn’t want him to burn out,” the source adds.
“But they are having so much fun on the road and exploring the country together.
“That’s been a big key to their love story.”
