BEES TERRIFY CROC KID BINDI

-

LIKE her late Croc Hunter dad,

Bindi Irwin has no fear tangling with crocodiles, snakes and other scary beasts, but there’s one critter that terrifies her — the tiny bumblebee.

The 23-year-old wildlife lover is used to fearsome beasts because dad Steve brought her up around them, but she caught a terror of bees as a tot when she spotted an injured one, tried to rescue it — and was stung on her paw!

“Bindi still remembers when she was young and got stung by a bee,” says a source. “Up until that time, she’d never suffered any injuries or bites while around or handling wildlife.

“But she says she can still remember the burning pain in her hand. Since then, she steers clear of the black and yellow insects and if she sees one flying around her eight-month-old daughter, Grace, she loses it and runs to protect the little one.”
