SUPERSTAR Will Smith is desperate to escape his toxic 24-year marriage to The Matrix beauty Jada Pinkett Smith, but he’s terrified to walk ’cause she can dish his most embarrassing private dirt, sources snitch.
“She just knows too much and she will spill if he ever breathes the word divorce,” says an insider.
Sources say the 53-yearold actor has been miserable for years, but feels trapped in a prison where 50-year-old Jada holds the key.
“He’s terrified she’ll bury him the moment he walks,” spills the insider. “It’s common knowledge she knows all the secrets about him and he’s an extremely shy, private man who would be loath for anything to come out about him having to do with scandals, partying and feuds.”
The Independence Day hunk “made the terrible mistake” of spilling all his most intimate secrets to Jada when they were first dating and madly in love, tattles the insider.
“They would have these long, drawn-out conversations that would last for hours, and he opened up to her like he’s never done with anyone before. And she’s stored everything away, every little dirty thing in his past.”
Tipsters tattle Jada knows the real reasons why the Bad Boys actor’s first marriage to Sheree Zampino collapsed in 1995 after three years and a son, Trey, now 29.
“Will was reckless and did some things that could prove highly embarrassing if they ever got out now,” reveals the insider.
While TV’s Gotham villainess admits straying with a younger man, Smith’s wife, mother of his son Jaden, 23, and daughter Willow, 21, has his estimated $350 million under her claws.
“Jada keeps a firm grip on all the accounts and he knows she’d take him to the cleaners if he tried to divorce her,” says the spy. “Now he’s feeling trapped and too scared to divorce her.”
