Now the back-and-forth bickering between the 66-year-old superstar singer and 65-year-old Rex, who both have roles on
TV’s Young Sheldon, is piling stress on top of issues drafting their marital prenup, sources squeal.
“They can’t agree on where to live after they’re married and it’s building into a real drama,” spills an insider. “Reba’s the daughter of a rodeo champ and wants to hole up in her home state, where she feels most comfortable. Rex wants L.A., where he’s been living for three decades — and for a change he’s not backing down.”
According to insiders, the issue is especially pressing since she’s opening
Reba’s Place eatery in Atoka, Okla., next year.
“Reba’s sinking an absolute fortune into the restaurant and wants to be there to ensure that it’s a success,” the insider notes.
As GLOBE previously reported, sources claim Reba and Rex are also tweaking a prenup designed to protect her $100 million fortune. Sources say the couple expect to come to an understanding on the cash.
“But there’s no compromise on where they eventually put down roots and their friends are worried it could derail their wedding plans,” tattles the insider.
“That would be a shame because they’re such a cute couple and everyone wants to see Reba set up with a great partner.”
