Divorce drama for Grace Kelly’s daughter
MONACO’S Princess Caroline can forget about mending fences with estranged hubby Prince Ernst of Hanover — he’s hooked up with two-decades-younger artist Claudia Stilianopoulos, sources say.
The 67-year-old skirtchaser has been canoodling with Spanish-born Claudia, 48, since they met on Ibiza in July, according to insiders, who note they were recently spied sharing a smooch outside a Madrid supermarket.
Now insiders believe Ernst wants to formally divorce Princess Grace Kelly’s daughter, his 64-year-old baby mom! Caroline and third hubby Ernst wed in 1999 and split ten years later, but never divorced. However, insiders say Claudia is pushing him to make things legal.
But Ernst has other problems. He’s currently locked in a battle over the $250 million family fortune with son Ernst Jr., 38, whose mom was his first wife, Chantal Hochuli. The German prince also has a rap sheet and is still fighting to overturn a 2004 conviction for beating a man with brass knuckles in Kenya. His lawyers are demanding a retrial — claiming he never owned brass knuckles!
In March, Ernst was given a ten-month suspended sentence for attacking a police officer and threatening another with a bat during a booze-fueled rage in Austria. The court also ordered him to see a shrink.
The prince’s lawyers claim the incident was a result of Ernst feeling “betrayed by his son.”
The feud between father and son is so bitter, Ernst refused to attend Junior’s 2017 wedding to Russian designer Ekaterina Malysheva or give his consent to the marriage, which is a Hanover family tradition.
Caroline’s marital drama is just the latest crisis to hit Monaco’s ruling Grimaldi clan. Her brother, Prince Albert, recently put his runaway wife, Princess Charlene, into a Swiss mental clinic when she returned to Monaco after ten months in South Africa!
Insiders suspect Caroline would embrace a divorce — as long as the price is right and Ernst takes care of their daughter, Princess Alexandra, 22.
