NO SYMPATHY FOR DEVIL SCOTT

Peterson’s sister & old lover vow to testify against Laci’s evil killer

-

IF WIFE and baby killer Scott Peterson wins a new trial, his road to freedom will be blocked by his own sister and an ex-galpal, who vow to testify against the murderous fiend.

Peterson, 49, was resentenced to life without the possibility of parole on Dec. 8 after the California Supreme Court quashed his original 2004 execution saying his then-jury was not properly screened about the death penalty.

However, shameless Peterson, who was convicted of murdering his eight-months-pregnant wife, Laci, and their unborn son, Conner, on Dec. 24, 2002, is still trying to beat the rap! He plans to ask for a retrial at a Feb. 24 hearing claiming one of the jurors acted improperly, secretly trying to cook up a book deal.

But Peterson’s sister, Anne Bird, vows to testify against him — if he should win a new trial that could throw out his conviction.

Bird was outraged when Scott lived with her for two months before Laci and her baby’s remains were found nearby in San Francisco Bay and acted like a “roving bachelor” the whole time.

“I thought he was looking for his missing wife, but he went to the store and got a cocktail mix to make something called ‘sextinis’ and he was serving them to our babysitter,” recalls Bird, author of the book Blood Brother: 33 Reasons My Brother Scott Peterson Is Guilty.

She says his flirting and “lack of interest” in looking for Laci convinced her “something’s really not right here.”

At his December resentencing hearing, Anne says Peterson was “vacant and emotionless” and she believes he should rot behind bars for life as justice for Laci’s still devastated family.

Meanwhile, Amber Frey, who Peterson dated before and after Laci’s murder and helped the cops get the goods on him before the original trial, says she’ll also testify against him at a retrial.

Says her lawyer Gloria Allred: “She’s willing to do it if necessary, because as Amber has said, ‘The truth is truth,’ and she feels it is her duty to assist in the cause of justice if the prosecution asks her to testify.”
