HANK AARON THE KING OF CLASS!

-

HAMMERIN’ Hank Aaron rocked the world by shattering Babe Ruth’s legendary home run mark on April 8, 1974, hitting his record 715th for the Atlanta Braves!

Traded to Milwaukee, he played two more seasons, finishing with 755 career home runs — the major league record until Barry Bonds broke it in 2007 and finished with 762.

Despite charges Bond used steroids, Aaron didn’t begrudge his mark being beaten.

“More than three decades as king was long enough,” said Hank, who received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2002.

The classy civil rights activist was 86 when he died of natural causes at his home in Atlanta on Jan. 22.
