Cell phone light ages skin!
BLUE light emitted from digital devices, such as smartphones, tablets and computers, may be adding years to your face, experts warn. Pennsylvania plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Bloom says at least one study has suggested the shortwavelength light “can lead to DNA damage and breakdown of our collagen and elastin fibers” in skin.
And in 2015, researchers in Germany found blue light may boost the production of free radicals, which have been linked to an accelerated appearance of aging.
