Cinnamon eases arthritis!
CINNAMON may do more than add spice to your life — researchers say it could ease painful symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis! Scientists in China examined data from 12 studies that analyzed results from daily doses of cinnamon ranging from 1.5 to 4 grams. They found consuming the fragrant powder — which is derived from Cinnamomum tree bark — appeared to reduce biomarkers for inflammation connected to the joint-ravaging disease, including the proteins C-reactive and interleukin-6, and boost the body’s total antioxidant capacity.
