JOHN LENNON’s widow, YOKO ONO, who’s become a superstar again at age 88 — thanks to Disney’s biblically long three-part documentar­y, The Beatles: Get Back. “I was seeing intimate, long-lost footage of the world’s most famous band preparing for its final performanc­e, and I couldn’t stop watching Yoko Ono sitting around, doing nothing,” blabs one reviewer. “Seriously, it’s somehow weirdly riveting watching the famed performanc­e artist, mindlessly leafing through a magazine or sitting silently up against John while the Beatles rehearse.”

But what most don’t know is that the woman oft blamed for breaking up the famous band has been secretly connecting with fans for ages. Reveals one media pro: “True story: When I was 14 I wrote Yoko Ono a letter to let her know I was in love with her (deceased) husband and she actually wrote me back. I’ve always adored her and

I’m glad that finally, after 50+ years, people appreciate her.” But she’s not so popular with John’s eldest son, JULIAN, and his first wife, CYNTHIA. They had to buy private letters he’d written to his dad at auction — because Yoko reportedly wouldn’t give them back to him. Gotta let it be!
