Teenage accuser wants Meghan to TELL ALL at sex trial
DISGRACED Prince Andrew is terrified rogue royal Duchess Meghan will be the key witness who’ll seal his fate at his shameful teenrape trial, palace insiders tell GLOBE!
Prince Harry’s diva wife is expected to testify in the Manhattan civil suit brought by Virginia Giuffre, who claims she was an underage 17-yearold “sex slave” when pedophile Jeffrey Epstein pimped her out to then 41-year-old Andrew in 2001.
Now in a stunning move to expose Andrew’s twisted secret life, Giuffre’s pitbull attorney David Boies says he wants to depose Americanborn Meghan, who’s now living in California with Harry, 37, and their children, Archie, 2, and Lilibet, seven months.
“She was a close associate of Prince Andrew for a period of time — she may have important knowledge,” declares Boies. “She is also in the U.S. so we have jurisdiction over her.
“And she is someone we can
count on to tell the truth.”
Boies’ bombshell was a body blow to the Duke of York, 61, a palace courtier claims. Andrew denies Virginia’s charges and insists he’s never met her — despite a photo showing him with his arm around her waist as Epstein’s accused madam Ghislaine Maxwell grins in the background.
The courtier fears Andrew — who has already tried to slut-shame his accuser — will “resort to a scorched earth attack” against his nephew’s wife, triggering an even deeper rift in the royal family.
“There is very real concern Andrew will try to discredit Meghan by using her own lies against her,” says the source.
While Meghan, 40, was caught telling whoppers about marrying Harry in a secret ceremony three days before their public wedding and had to apologize to a judge for misleading testimony over her role in a royal-bashing biography, her in-laws don’t want their dirty laundry aired in public.
“Queen Elizabeth is sick with worry over this shocking development,” says the courtier. “She fears Meghan could use the witness stand to settle her grievances with the royal family — or damning testimony about Andrew would destroy her favorite son AND the monarchy!” Meanwhile, Andrew has desperately tried to get Giuffre’s lawsuit thrown out, saying it was a “baseless, threadbare” complaint, but Judge Lewis Kaplan dismissed the request. The judge also torpedoed Andrew’s attempt to introduce news reports branding Virginia “a money-hungry sex kitten.”
“The last thing Andrew needs is Meghan talking to his accuser’s legal team,” dishes the palace courtier. “She’s already proved to be a loose cannon!
“Deposing Meghan in this high-profile case just plays into the former actress’ publicity-obsessed hands.
“She sees herself as Queen of Hollywood and there’s no bigger stage than taking a starring role in the production that is Prince Andrew’s sex scandal.”
Adds another palace insider: “Andrew and the queen thought this lawsuit would simply go away — but it refuses to die!
“It’s becoming a three-ring circus and the fear is Meghan will star as ringmaster!”
