BRITNEY SPEARS’ dad, Jamie, is still trying to suck money from her fortune — demanding she pay his legal fees for wrapping up the now-canceled conservatorship that gave him control of her $60 million empire.
Insiders suspect Jamie pocketed $6 million for his role running Britney’s estate during the 13 years a court put him in charge of her life after her notorious 2008 emotional meltdown.
Britney and her lawyer got the conservatorship canceled in November — weeks after Jamie quit under pressure. Now he wants his daughter to pay his lawyers’ bills related to his departure.
Says her attorney Mathew Rosengart: “Mr. Spears reaped many millions of dollars from Britney as a conservator, while paying his lawyers millions more, all from Britney’s work and hard-earned money.”
He calls Jamie’s demand for more loot “an abomination,” but the star’s dad insists he’s entitled to the money — and did nothing wrong.
