Screaming rages & bitter tears after clash with queen over rape trial disaster
GUILT-RIDDLED Prince Andrew suffered a shocking emotional breakdown after being exiled and stripped of all honorary titles by his mother, Queen Elizabeth, as his shocking rape scandal has the monarchy teetering on the brink of disaster, senior palace sources say.
Royal courtiers dish sex assault charges leveled by a member of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s teen harem in a Manhattan federal court pushed the 61-year-old Duke of York over the edge as his legal defense collapses.
“Andrew’s having a nervous breakdown!” charges a highlevel staffer. “He can’t handle the mess he’s created and is guilty of breaking his mother’s heart. He’s heaped hurt and humiliation on the queen, but being publicly disowned hit him like a sledgehammer.
“Her decision to cast him out of the royal circle is the most damning verdict of all — no matter how much he proclaims his innocence.
“Now the duke is an emotional disaster, alternating between pathetic weeping bouts of self-pity and out-ofcontrol screaming rages when he blames his destruction on everyone but himself!
“With the horrors of a noholds-barred rape trial looming, Andrew may need to be put in a psych ward for his own protection!”
As GLOBE revealed, Andrew’s 95-year-old mother was forced to boot her favorite son from the family, banning him from using the title His Royal Highness. He was also stripped of his military honors.
The ailing queen had been behind Andrew and even paying his legal bills, but now “without her backing, he’s terrified about what lies ahead,” says the insider.
“She’s the one person who’s stood by him his whole life, no matter what troubles he got himself into. Now he’s on his own.”
Andrew is reeling after a New York judge refused to throw out a civil lawsuit alleging he raped 17-year-old Virginia Roberts Giuffre when he was 41 in 2001.
Virginia, now 38, was a sex slave to Andrew’s billionaire pervert pal, Epstein, when, she claims, she was trafficked to the prince three times in 2001. Andrew denies the allegations, but Her Majesty has had enough, the courtier says, fearing every sordid aspect of his life is fair game in court and he “jeopardizes the monarchy.”
The royal black sheep was
previously banned from royal duties in 2019 over his close ties with Epstein, 66, who died mysteriously in a New York jail that year while awaiting trial on new sex trafficking charges.
“This rape lawsuit is Andrew’s worst nightmare!” dishes the royal insider. “Andrew’s lived a charmed life, but now he’s a pariah facing the poorhouse with mounting legal bills.”
