WILL & JADA’S PROBLEM CHILD
Willow, 21, butts heads with strict celeb parents
WORRIED movie star parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are on a collision course with their musician-wild child Willow, who they fear has turned into an outta control, big-headed brat, spies tattle.
The headstrong 21-year-old Lipstick singer was named one of the most influential people of 2021 by Time magazine and Jada, 50, and Will, 53, are convinced it’s gone to her head, sources snitch.
“Willow already had little use for her parents’ advice, but now it’s ten times worse,” tattles the tipster.
“Willow goes back and forth between riding her parents’ coattails with the doors their famous name opens — and the opposite extreme — where she strikes out on her own, hangs out with non-showbiz friends and tries to be a normal, anonymous young person.”
Of course, being unknown isn’t an option for the famous Smith family, which includes Willow’s brother Jaden, 23, insiders say.
“The view is Willow’s future success in the business hangs on her NOT getting on the outs with her family, and instead pitching in and helping everybody accomplish their goals,” dishes the insider.
“This is not a family that rewards swimming against the tide and not pulling your weight.”
Ironically, Time Machine singer Willow, sources insist, still relies on her parents for almost everything, especially her entertainment career!
As GLOBE previously reported, her famous parents have had a very rocky marriage and that’s definitely caused Willow emotional pain.
“Although Willow always insists her folks are their own people, there have been times that it’s upset her,” insists the insider.
“In a lot of ways, you can’t blame her for wanting to do things her own way and not take advice from her parents.
“But Will and Jada don’t see it that way.”
