The quirky rock star, who died of a fentanyl overdose in 2016 at age 57, never made a will, leaving heirs to squabble over his riches — finally valued at $156.4 million after wildly differing estimates by the IRS and the estate administrator, who initially set the value at $83 million. Two of the Purple Rain singer’s six siblings died while waiting for the case to end. Now a massive chunk of cash will go to state and federal taxes.
