Billy’s children all determined to fill dead dad’s shoes
ALASKAN Bush People patriarch Billy Brown’s sudden death has exploded a greedfueled family feud, with his seven surviving kids squabbling over who takes over the clan’s $6 million empire, insiders dish.
The 68-year-old naturalist and adventurer left a fortune when he was felled by a fatal seizure at his Washington State home a year ago this month and now a spy says his children — Matt, 38, Bam Bam, 37, Bear, 34, Gabe, 32, Noah, 29, Snowbird, 27, and
Rain, 19 — are “all making a dog-eatdog play to rule the family business.”
According to an insider, Matt thinks he should be in charge because he’s the oldest, while Bam Bam insists he’s the best to run the enterprise, which includes their Discovery Channel reality show.
“Of course, Bear, Gabe and Noah are getting their two cents in, while Birdy and Rainy refuse to follow orders from a pack of meatheads,” laughs the source.
“There’s been a lot of bickering and talk of going their separate ways, but at the end of the day they know they need each other if they want the show to continue, which they do.
“It’s made them all richer beyond their dreams.”
Meanwhile, clan matriarch Ami, 58, is “too distraught over Billy’s passing to deal with these unruly kids,” tattles the source, who insists she is
still fragile despite beating cancer. She’s also battling a lawsuit filed against Billy’s estate claiming he failed to pay a Tennessee investor profits from the show, which she denies.
The clan’s also facing fan backlash over claims the show is scripted — and the family is holed up in a $2.7 million Beverly Hills mansion when not filming in the wilds.
“They’re obviously all living the good life,” says the insider, “and they appear to have gotten greedy, too!”
