The story of a deranged doctor played by MARLON BRANDO who breeds humans with animals took a backseat to real-life drama: Bruce Willis dropped out to tend to his split from Demi Moore. Replacement Val Kilmer was served on-set with divorce papers from Joanne Whalley, and he took it out on Brando by trying to upstage the great actor every chance he got!
