ZSA ZSA’S PRINCE ADOPTS HUNK, 27!
Playing house as son waits to inherit title & $40M fortune
ZSA Zsa Gabor’s childless widower Frederic Prinz von Anhalt is adopting a grown-up guy to take care of him in his old age — and be heir to his title and the actress’ estimated $40 million fortune.
The 78-year-old insists his search for a successor to his 1,000-year-old German title even included a rapper. But he chose 27-year-old Kevin Feucht, who is a friend’s son.
“I wanted to show lonely people they do not need to be alone,” says von Anhalt, Zsa Zsa’s ninth hubby. “You can adopt a grown-up and have somebody who helps you from day one. He has a new birth certificate and I am his official father.”
While adult adoptions are unusual in America, von Anhalt claims they’re common in Europe and how he got his title.
The son of a policeman, von
Anhalt says he was 35 years old when adopted by Princess Marie Auguste, daughter-in-law of Germany’s last emperor. He claims she was living on a $500 pension at the time.
“I had played soccer with her grandson, and he moved to South America,” he recalls.
As part of the deal, von Anhalt, who ran a spa and sauna, gave her $700 a month, saying: “She got the money and I got the title.”
While the title came without a cash inheritance, he could wear a glitzy uniform and use it as “a tool.”
He admits selling knighthoods for $50,000 to $100,000 a pop, raking in about $10 million over the years. His title also helped him hook up with Zsa Zsa, who died at 99 in 2016.
Now, German-born Kevin, a UC-Santa Barbara alum, is his legal son.
“I have known Frederic for seven years,” Kevin says. “My dad is a friend of Frederic and he told me that I could stay at Frederic’s house.
“Frederic and I agreed that if I help around the place, cook for him, make sure his bills get paid, I can stay.”
