REALITY star Lisa Vanderpump cheated death and possible paralysis after she was thrown by her horse shattering her leg.
An eyewitness says the beast the 61-yearold babe was riding suddenly spooked and bucked — sending her flying head over heels and landing with a thud on her back at The Paddock in L.A. late last month.
An ambulance rushed Bravo channel’s Vanderpump Rules cutie — with husband Ken Todd along for the ride — to the hospital, where she was treated for two breaks in
her leg and a badly bruised back.
While Lisa’s been riding for six years, even experts can be crippled or killed.
Superman star Christopher Reeve, then 42, was paralyzed from the neck down during a riding competition and remained totally crippled until his death at 52 in 2004.
Luckily for Lisa, who formerly starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she’s expected to recover fully following surgery, says a source.
Ironically, an animal incident — the
Puppygate Scandal — drove Lisa off RHOBH in 2019.
She became furious with co-star Dorit Kemsley, who gave away a puppy she’d adopted from Vanderpump’s rescue shelter because it had bitten members of her family.
Angry with Dorit and co-stars who sided with her, Lisa vowed she wouldn’t return “with this cast.”
