WENDY WILLIAMS TAKES TRAGIC TURN FOR WORSE!

Fears she’ll never return to TV and needs urgent hospitalization

-

TROUBLED Wendy Williams has become a frail, dazed shell, according to sources who fear the TV talk show queen will be institutionalized because she can’t care for herself!

The 57-year-old chatterbox, who’s been on hiatus for six months battling health issues, was recently spotted looking wobbly in a robe and no shoes while needing to be helped to her car at a Miami wellness center.

“Wendy’s gone downhill since taking leave from the show and it’s no secret her health has taken a turn for the worse,” blabs an insider.

“She can’t walk on her own.

She can’t keep house on her own.

She needs help getting dressed and she obviously is not eating properly because she’s lost so much weight.

“She’s acting confused and disoriented and doesn’t remember where she is or who she is sometimes.

“Really, she can’t be trusted to look after herself and it’s painful to see.

“Her family is debating whether she wouldn’t be better off in a special home where she could get the care she needs.”

The once witty and lively Wendy, who’s admitted to being a reformed cocaine junkie, has been battling Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disorder that causes an overactive thyroid, and other medical problems.

As GLOBE reported, she collapsed on her show due to dehydration in October 2017. She broke her left shoulder in a fall in December 2018 and confessed to being in a sober house “for some time” in 2019.

Guest hosts have been filling in for her this season — including Jerry Springer, Sherri Shepherd and Leah Remini.

“Wendy hasn’t been fired from the show but no one thinks she’s coming back given her present physical and mental state,” tattles the insider.
