FREE HANK WILLIAMS’ SON SAM!
COUNTRY music icon Hank Williams
Jr.’s son Sam is pulling a Britney Spears, posting internet videos pleading to be freed from a family conservatorship.
The 24-year-old claims his 72-year-old dad and half-sister Holly, 40, put him in a conservatorship 18 months ago after he fell apart when his sister Katie, 27, died in a 2020 Tennessee car crash with her husband.
“I definitely broke and went through a really, really, really hard time. I’m still climbing out of it,” he admits. “But, it’s the ‘still climbing’ part that is the most important. That’ll just always be a big part of my story.”
On a recent social media video post, Sam is seen holding a handwritten sign saying: “I want out.”
“I’ve been quiet a long time now. I want out of this, and I don’t mind people knowing,” he reveals.
“They took my grief process, my spirit, my money, my car, my home, and everything possible in order to ‘protect me.’ I need protection from them. I do not deserve this. Get. Me. Out. Please.”
His kinfolk didn’t respond.
