PRESIDENT Joe Biden’s son Hunter is quaking in his boots — terrified a new tell-all book by ex-wife Kathleen Buhle will expose his family’s darkest personal and financial secrets, insiders say.
For now, Kathleen’s proclaiming her memoir — due in June — will rip the lid off the 52-year-old first son’s sordid past addiction to drugs, prostitutes and strip clubs that wrecked their marriage. But sources say he’s worried she’ll go much further — and embroil his father in scandal.
“He’s scared and should be,” says a source. “A lot of it he doesn’t remember because he was so high on drugs or passed out cold. But Kathleen does, and word is she’s telling it like it is.
“He’s depressed and the few friends he has left are worried he’ll spiral downward again
— because once a drug addict, always a drug addict.”
After 24 years together, Hunter and Kathleen, 52, divorced in 2017 over his substance abuse and fling with his dead brother Beau’s wife, Hallie! Their daughters, Naomi, 28, Finnegan, 22, and Maisy, 21, took their mom’s side, sources tattle.
“His daughters want little to do with him and look at him as a total disgrace,” dishes the insider.
In 2019, former lawyer Hunter married Melissa Cohen, 33, a feisty South African activist and documentary filmmaker, following a whirlwind courtship. She helped him get clean and sober.
The following year they welcomed son Beau — named after Hunter’s war hero big brother, who died of a brain tumor in 2015.
But after moving to Malibu and becoming an artist, his life is now in turmoil with Kathleen’s upcoming memoir and new foreign financial scandals that are scarring his father’s presidency.
