Pregnant pot smokers’ baby risk
PREGNANT pot smokers double their risk of having an underweight newborn — increasing the child’s odds of experiencing serious health complications, warns a new study. After analyzing data from nearly 60,000 women, scientists from Arizona’s Marchand Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery say expectant mothers who used marijuana also had a 28 percent increase in premature births over gals who don’t consume cannabis.
