A DEMONIC Florida dad fatally shot his two kids before turning the gun on himself, leaving their lifeless bodies to be found by his hysterical exwife, who desperately tried to resuscitate her children!
Lawmen reveal Jessica Forero Cardona made the heartwrenching discovery in Miami Lakes when she went searching for daughter Valeria, 12, and son Matias, 9.
According to police, crazed Humberto Christian Tovar Zapata, 41, picked up the youngsters earlier in the day. But Jessica grew concerned when the hour grew late, and her ex didn’t respond to phone calls.
Neighbor Magda Peña says she heard the mother’s screams and ran to the grisly scene.
She recalls, “I saw the man’s body there. I saw the little girl’s body there, and the mom was trying to do compressions on the little girl. She even pulled her body toward the son’s body to bring them closer, and she herself started doing chest compressions on them.”
Peña claims she also saw a gun lying near the father’s corpse.
Luz Kuznitz, Zapata’s mother, says her troubled son first tried to take his own life at age nine. She adds he was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder but “never wanted to take medication therapy.”
But the grieving grandma, who says she spoke with the kids by phone minutes before the senseless tragedy, insists, “He promised me he would never hurt the children.”
