GONE GIRL WHOOPI WASN’T MISSED!

Unhappy co-hosts wish arrangement was permanent!

WINDBAG Whoopi Goldberg is throwing her weight around at The View again and her chatfest cohosts are fed up with the bossy funnylady’s know-it-all attitude and want her gone for keeps, sources spill.

Upon returning to the ABC show after a two-week suspension over outrageous comments about the Holocaust, Whoopi, 66, gleefully crowed, “I’m back!” But tipsters dish panelists Joy Behar, Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin weren’t so happy!

“The weeks when Whoopi was gone there was a lot of levity on the set, and the ladies were all so much more relaxed and able to get their opinions across,” says a spy. “But things quickly changed the moment she got back.”

The Oscar-winning Ghost actress sparked a firestorm in January — and got herself sidelined — by insisting the Nazis’ murder of 6 million Jews during the Holocaust wasn’t racially motivated.

The former standup star later admitted on-air, “I regret my comments.” But sources dish her co-hosts didn’t buy her half-hearted apology and feel she’s not acting like she’s sorry for her offensive remarks!

Now, the insider whispers her castmates “want her gone!”

But as GLOBE reported, sources also say Whoopi is peeved over the panelists’ stony silence about her suspension and considers their tight-lipped behavior an “insult.”

With the combative chatterbox firmly entrenched in the seat she’s filled since 2007, a show rep insists talk of dissension in the ranks is untrue and says “everyone at The View is happy to have Whoopi back at the table where she belongs.”

But the insider insists, “The co-hosts are so over Whoopi and her patronizing ways. They absolutely hate how she’s bragging about all the people who supported her. It wasn’t long ago Whoopi was threatening to quit. Now the feeling behind the scenes is they can’t wait for that day to come!”
