Malia & Sasha poised to be reality TV stars
TINSELTOWN TV honchos are preparing a big-bucks offer to lure Barack and Michelle Obama’s dishy daughters onto their own reality show — leaving the former first couple horrified, spies tattle!
Hollywood newcomers Malia, 23, and Sasha, 20, would be “ratings gold” and could be set for life if they agree to a Keeping Up with the Kardashians style series, according to a snitch, who believes it would drive their parents over the edge.
“The last thing that Barack wants is to have cameras following Malia and Sasha around all the time — the potential for embarrassment is huge,” dishes a source. “The idea is a total nightmare for him and yet another reason why he hates life on the West Coast.
“Michelle would be more open to giving her blessing, but not if it were too cheesy or prying into the family’s life as a whole.”
So far, the girls have shied away from the spotlight since their father left the White House in 2017. But now they’ve relocated to L.A. and greedy showbiz bigwigs see them as cash cows and Malia’s already worked on TV.
“There’s a growing belief Malia and Sasha are open to offers,” tattles a tipster.
“They’re both hugely ambitious, love living in L.A. and are well-versed in coping with the limelight and using their connections to get ahead.”
GLOBE has reported how the Obamas, now worth an estimated $70 million, have been building their showbiz empire with a mega-millions Netflix content deal. But sources say the former commander-in-chief is dead set against his daughters becoming TV fodder.
Still, Harvard grad Malia and Sasha, now finishing college in California, are adults and their protective parents have little control over them.
“They are both very headstrong, and for the most part they do what they want and their parents have to accept it,” spills the insider.
