DISNEY KID TIM’S DEATHBED SECRET

-

FORMER teen heartthrob Tim Considine took a shocking secret to the grave — he burned out on acting after hit gigs on The Mickey Mouse Club and My Three Sons and quit to become a photographer and writer.

The 81-year-old, who died at his California home in Mar Vista on March 3, first appeared on TV at age 12 and by 15 was starring in The

Mickey Mouse Club in 1955.

He went on to star in series like Spin and Marty and Hardy Boys and at 18 appeared in the 1959 Disney hit The Shaggy Dog, co-starring Annette Funicello.

Tim went on to play Fred MacMurray’s oldest son in the hit sitcom My Three Sons for five years starting in 1960.

After playing the soldier slapped by George C. Scott in 1970’s Patton, his interest in acting dwindled and he plunged into his real love, sports, as a photog and writer.

“Tim was a quirky guy who wanted to do so many things in life,” says an insider. “He became a sports and automobile photographer, a writer and author!”

His books include The Language of Sport, American Grand Prix Racing and The Photographic Dictionary of Soccer.

Stanley Livingston, his costar on My Three Sons, says: “He didn’t care about stardom or celebrity. He only cared about living life to its fullest. And he did.”
