GOOD TIMES JOHNNY DIDN’T HAVE TO DIE!

-

SITCOM star Johnny Brown suddenly keeled over and died of a heart attack — just minutes after having his pacemaker checked by a doc.

A pal of Brown, 84, who played building superintendent Nathan Bookman on the hit series Good Times from 1975 to 1979, says, “Johnny didn’t have to die. This should never have happened!

“I’m told he appeared to be feeling fine when he left the doctor’s office” on March 2.

Shortly after, he suffered cardiac arrest and was whisked to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.

According to experts, up to 30 percent of patients wearing pacemakers can die without warning.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 61 years, June, his son, John Jr., and daughter, Sharon, who says: “Our family is devastated.”
