MRS. BALDWIN FINALLY WISES UP!
ALEC BALDWIN’S fake “Spanish” wife, Hilaria Baldwin, has made a shocking announcement — she’s taking a break from social media.
As far as we’re concerned — good riddance!
As for her — smart move.
The only question is: What took her so long?
The stunning yoga instructor and mom of six is making the social media shutdown four months after Alec was holding a prop gun that fired and killed 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins while filming the Western flick Rust in New Mexico on Oct. 21.
As one of the film’s producers, Alec is being sued by Hutchins’ hubby for wrongful death, insisting Baldwin did not follow proper safety precautions on set — a claim the actor strongly denies.
Meanwhile, the last thing Hilaria should have been doing is maintaining a high profile on social media while this tragedy is still unsettled.
But as GLOBE has reported, Hilaria is one limelight-loving babe who also likes to lie about who she really is.
For years, she sported a Spanish accent and insisted her family was from Iberia while hawking her wellness and yoga products online. She was finally unmasked by a Twitter user who accused her of “impersonating a Spanish person.”
Truth is: Hilaria was born in Boston to American parents.
GLOBE quoted her classmates from her preppie Massachusetts high school, who remembered Hilaria as a “white girl” with no Spanish accent.
You’d think this kind of unmasking and embarrassment would have sent Hilaria into hiding.
But no, she maintained her social media site from her husband’s deadly October shooting until March 4, when she posted: “Hey friends! I’m gonna take a social break.
“I promise I’ll be back. I love you all and know you worry, so want to give you a heads up. I might check in from time to time, dropping you a photo, and letting you know we are ok.”
We don’t know about you, but not hearing from Hilaria won’t make us boo-hoo. To quote Hilaria’s notorious faux Spanish to English pose: How you say good riddance?
