AFTER more than 30 years, TV bigwigs are pulling the plug on Maury Povich’s daytime talk show.
NBCUniversal says it ends shooting of new episodes in the fall, but reruns will continue on syndication.
And there are a lot! Since starting as The Maury
Povich Show in 1991 and later changing its title to just Maury, the program hit 3,000 episodes in May 2016.
Star Maury, now 83, is famous for his paternity revelations, where he’d tell a shocked guest: “You are not the father!”
