TINA TOSSES ALEC TO THE WOLVES!
TAINTED by a camera operator’s gunshot death on the set of his flick Rust, Alec Baldwin could use all the Hollywood pals he can find — but his former 30 Rock co-star Tina Fey has coldly turned her back on him, sources snitch.
The former SNL funnygal, who was also Alec’s producer boss on the hit NBC sitcom from 2006 to 2013, was never close to the fading 64-yearold hunk and now she’s “washed her hands of the guy,” blabs an insider.
Even in the best of times, Tina and Alec were never buddies, according to the snitch, who claims their relationship was “always colder and more business-minded than they let on publicly.”
Now, sources say Alec could use her in his corner, but Tina, 51, hates controversy and doesn’t want to wade into the shocking saga that’s made Baldwin a showbiz pariah.
As GLOBE previously reported, Baldwin was pointing a revolver at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of Rust on Oct. 21 when the weapon discharged, killing the young mother and wounding director Joel Souza.
A police investigation is ongoing and Baldwin’s being sued by Hutchins’ family. But the actor insists he’s not to blame for the tragedy and is pinning the rap on members of the movie’s crew. But his actions have generated backlash in Tinseltown, insiders dish.
“Alec could really use Tina to help sway Hollywood on his side, but that ain’t gonna happen,” says the insider. “She’s pretty much washed her hands of the guy.”
No help for Baldwin in shooting scandal
