SAGET’S DEATH FREAKING OUT STEVE HARVEY
Terrified TV frontman getting his life in order
COMIC Bob Saget’s sudden death has totally terrified his buddy Steve Harvey, driving TV’s newest judge to get his legal and personal affairs in order, spies dish.
Harvey, 65, was panicked when the 65-year-old Full House star died from a bizarre brain bleed Jan. 9 and worries he could be next, sources say.
“Steve’s going over all his affairs to make sure everything’s in order legally and he’s also started getting all kinds of medical testing,” tattles an insider. “He’s getting everything checked from his cholesterol to his heart.
“He’s obsessed with making sure he’s in good health.”
Saget’s death hit Harvey “extra hard, probably because they are the same age,” spills the insider. “Turning 65 was already a huge deal for Steve because it’s retirement age and he just doesn’t feel anywhere near ready to slow down.
“So to have Bob die just a couple of weeks before his birthday was upsetting to say the least.”
Even ahead of his milestone Jan. 17 birthday, Steve went on a slimming program and “dropped a ton of weight over the past year thanks to diet and some surgery,” says the insider.
“But that doesn’t mean he’s cut out all his unhealthy habits. There’s still a lot of room for improvement.”
“His wife Marjorie’s always bugging him to eat more fresh veggies and fruits and since Bob’s death from an unexplained fall and fatal brain trauma he’s actually started listening to her.”
The Family Feud host married Marjorie, 57, in 2007 and became dad to her kids Lori, 25, Jason, 31, and Morgan, 34. He also has four children — twins Karli and Brandi, 40, Broderick Jr., 31, and Wynton, 24 — from two previous marriages. Sources say the responsibility of seven kids weighs on him.
“He feels like he needs to stick around and work as long as he possibly can to make sure all of his kids and grandkids, and even their kids, are provided for,” dishes the insider.
