WILL & JADA: $400M DIVORCE SMACKDOWN!
WHACKED out Will Smith’s shocking violent attack at the Oscars is further proof his marriage is on the rocks and headed for a monster $400 million divorce, sources say.
For two years, Will and wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage has been hanging by a thread following the 50-year-old beauty’s scandalous affair with toyboy singer August Alsina, 29, who confessed in 2020 that he “truly and really, really loved” her.
Now a friend fears 53-year-old Will — who won Best Actor for his role in King Richard at the Oscars, where he also attacked award pre
senter Chris Rock — and Jada are headed for a “really, really expensive” divorce.
“They’ve been living in a pressure cooker and the lid blew off when Chris Rock made that tasteless joke about Jada’s shaved head,” spills an insider.
“It wasn’t just the joke. Will felt Chris was mocking him and sneering at how emasculated he’s become.”
The celebrity-studded audience was visibly rocked as Will shot onstage, slapped Chris, shouted an obscenity, and then, after sitting down, yelled: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f**king mouth!”
Later as Smith accepted his Oscar, he made what seemed like a tearful apology to the academy.
Chris, who said, “Will Smith just smacked the s**t out of me,” has decided against filing a police report while the academy publicly condemned violence. A day later, humiliated Smith issued a groveling apology to Rock.
The insider notes Will’s family “will stand behind him publicly but in private this is a huge embarrassment, especially to Jada.”
Meanwhile, sources say the couple, parents of Jaden, 23, and Willow, 21, have no prenup! At the time of their 1997 marriage, Jada said she’d sign one, but Will told her, “Let’s not do a prenup.”
But now “there’s a lot of tears and tension behind the scenes,” tattles the insider, adding: “Will’s going to be limping from the bank because Jada will surely take him to the cleaners.”
